We are delighted that you are considering ‘Capture and Cut’ to film your Wedding. We are a husband and wife team specialising in the production of personalised wedding and event films that uniquely reflect the style and story of your day.
Our filming style is unobtrusive and quiet and we value the opportunity to work alongside your other chosen professionals to produce a memory of your day that you will be impatient to share.
We capture the day’s big set pieces and the little moments in between that no one else sees. Recording in 4k stunning cinematic imagery with time lapse sequences when the right moment presents and using a professional editing suite to generate high quality content that can be viewed in high definition.

Capture and Cut Wedding Packages
We offer two packages that suit differing budgets and purposes, but we are happy to discuss individual requirements.
The All Inclusive Wedding Package £1495
2 camera operators with four 4k cameras (Camera operator 1 present all day, Camera operator 2 present until wedding breakfast see FAQ)
Filming of the bridal preparations (timings of the day are set by client)
Filming of location
Filming of the ceremony, vows, readings and guests
Filming of the entrance to the wedding breakfast and speeches
Filming of the evening guests including the first dance
Filming of Groom preparations ( on request)
Drone footage (This is weather and venue dependent)
3 Hours of post production editing to allow for potential alterations
Final Product includes:- Wedding highlights (Approximately 5-7 minutes in length), Feature film with vows (Approximately 45 minutes in length), readings, speeches, (All supplied in high definition on a USB or download from cloud). Also included are up to 20 digital images of your favourite wedding moments (extracted from the film).

'Simply Highlights'Package £795
‘The Simply Highlights’ package is perfect as an alternative option. It’s designed for those couples who are keeping a close eye on their budget or for those who want to keep things simple but still want to capture the beauty of their day.

FAQ
Do you film outside of Gloucestershire?
We are happy to film anywhere, in or out of the UK. We do not charge extra for travelling or accommodation unless the distance is greater than 50 miles, then the cost is reasonable and negotiable. We are happy to consider any requests and then discuss the most sensible option available
When can I expect to receive the first copy of my film?
The first copy of the film should arrive three weeks after the wedding day. We remember the post wedding feelings well and we believe that you need your film as the ’perfect pick me up’ once ‘wedding fever’ is over
What equipment do you use?
We use a combination of camera’s, that can be deployed correctly according to situation. Our 4k camera’s include the Panasonic S1, GH4, two Sony AX52’s, DJI Mavic pro drone and a GoPro Hero 7 black edition.
In order to achieve the best possible audio recording whilst being as invisible as possible, we supplement our camera’s shotgun microphones with a combination of small discrete, sony tx650’s, Roland R05 audio recorders in conjunction with lavaliere microphones for all those delivering those important speeches, readings and of course vows! The capture of audio is critical to us so we often supplement this with small zoom h1 desktop recorders and a Roland R44 multi-track field recorder.
Finally, in order to edit, composite and build the final product, we use Final Cut pro, After effects, Photoshop and Encore. Finally we rely on the MacBook pro 2021 and iMac late 2015 27 inch iMac with Retina 5k to provide the polished finish.
How many Videographers attend each shoot?
Two videographers attend a wedding event to capture the most significant moments of the day (Not applicable to the ‘Simply Highlights’ package). Experience has taught us that too many professionals can impact on the serenity of the day and thus we provide two videographers at all the most significant moments and reduce this to one where their presence is unnecessary. This is reflected in our price.
Can I choose the music for my video?
Music licenses are an important and complex part of videography, we purchase licenses to allow you to choose any music you would prefer for your film. However, where the wedding highlights are to be shared over the internet, a music track license will be chosen and purchased separately by us.
What happens if I want to make changes to the film once produced?
No problem! If in the unlikely event alterations are needed we provide the opportunity for three free hours of editing post production.
How do I make a booking?
Email jo@captureandcut.co.uk and we will respond within 24 hours. We will then guide you through the booking process and ensure that we answer all your questions before you take the next step. A 20% deposit will secure your date and then the remaining payment will be required 30 days prior to the wedding date.
Are you insured to provide a wedding and event videography service?
We have full public liability insurance and separate insurance to cover the use of the drone.
